Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Overview

At Daily Salad, we are committed to delivering fresh, chef-crafted salad bowls to your doorstep. This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines our delivery process, timelines, and what you can expect from our service.

Delivery Timeframe: The items will be delivered within 2 hours same day (1 day).

2. Delivery Areas

Currently, we deliver to:

  • Patan and surrounding areas
  • Service area may expand - check your dashboard for availability
  • If your area is not covered, you can join our waitlist and we'll notify you when we expand

3. Delivery Time Slots

3.1 Morning Delivery

  • Time window: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM
  • Available for all subscription plans
  • Salad bowls are prepared fresh each night and delivered in the morning
  • Insulated packaging ensures freshness and proper temperature

3.2 Evening Delivery

  • Coming soon - currently in pilot mode
  • Subscribers get early access when evening delivery launches
  • Time window will be announced upon launch
  • Join the waitlist through your dashboard to be notified

4. Delivery Schedule

Your delivery schedule depends on your subscription plan:

  • 7-Day Plan: Daily deliveries for 7 consecutive days
  • 15-Day Plan: Daily deliveries for 15 consecutive days
  • 30-Day Plan: Daily deliveries for 30 consecutive days

Deliveries begin the day after your subscription is activated and payment is confirmed. You can view your complete delivery schedule in your dashboard.

5. Delivery Process

Our delivery process:

  1. Preparation: Salad bowls are prepared fresh each night using produce sourced from trusted farms
  2. Packaging: Bowls are packed in insulated, reusable containers to maintain freshness and temperature
  3. Dispatch: Orders are dispatched early morning to ensure timely delivery
  4. Delivery: Our delivery team delivers to your specified address within the time window
  5. Confirmation: You receive delivery confirmation via SMS and email

6. Delivery Address Requirements

To ensure successful delivery, please provide:

  • Complete and accurate address including house/flat number, building name, street, and landmark
  • Correct PIN code
  • City and state information
  • Contact phone number for delivery coordination
  • Any specific delivery instructions (gate code, floor, etc.)

You can update your delivery address through your dashboard at least 24 hours before the next scheduled delivery.

7. Delivery Attempts

We make one delivery attempt per scheduled delivery. If delivery cannot be completed due to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address
  • Customer unavailability at the delivery address
  • Inaccessible location (gated community without access, etc.)
  • Refusal to accept delivery

The delivery will be marked as failed, and you will be charged for that delivery. We will attempt to contact you via phone to resolve the issue. You can reschedule the delivery through your dashboard.

8. Pause and Skip Deliveries

You have flexibility to manage your deliveries:

  • Skip Delivery: Skip specific delivery dates with at least 24 hours notice. Skipped deliveries extend your subscription end date.
  • Pause Subscription: Pause your entire subscription for a specified period. Your subscription will automatically resume after the pause period.
  • Both options are available through your dashboard
  • Changes must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery

9. Packaging and Freshness

We ensure your salad bowl arrives fresh:

  • Insulated packaging maintains proper temperature during transit
  • Reusable containers are eco-friendly and food-safe
  • Bowls are prepared fresh each night, never pre-made days in advance
  • Produce is sourced daily from trusted farms for peak freshness
  • Quality checks are performed before dispatch

10. Delivery Delays

While we strive for on-time delivery, delays may occur due to:

  • Weather conditions (heavy rain, storms, etc.)
  • Traffic conditions
  • Unexpected operational issues
  • Force majeure events

In case of delays, we will notify you via SMS and email. We are not liable for delays due to circumstances beyond our control, but we will make every effort to deliver as soon as possible.

11. Delivery Tracking

You can track your deliveries through your dashboard. You will receive:

  • Real-time delivery status updates
  • SMS notifications for delivery confirmation
  • Email confirmations for each delivery
  • Delivery agent contact information when delivery is out for delivery

12. Delivery Charges

All delivery charges are included in your subscription price. There are no additional delivery fees for standard deliveries within our service area. Special delivery requests or out-of-area deliveries may incur additional charges, which will be communicated upfront.
